This is a significant turn after the prolonged post-pandemic inventory shortage that challenged buyers and sellers alike. Nationally, inventory is still tight\u2014supply remains below what we saw before 2020\u2014but these pockets of growth suggest a slow return to balance in some areas.<\/p>\n<p>For buyers, this means a bit more breathing room, as increased supply can offer more choices and may help ease the pace of price growth where inventory is above pre-pandemic benchmarks. For sellers, however, the market is subtly shifting.
